Dutch crane rental company Baetsen has taken delivery of a 55 tonne Demag AC 55-3 All Terrain crane.
The three axle AC 55-3 features a 50 metre main boom which can be lowered five degrees below horizontal for easy rigging from the ground. Its outriggers can also be positioned independently with the IC-1 Plus calculating the load chart based on the crane’s configuration.
Marc Peperkamp, Baetsen general manager, said: “The Demag AC 55-3 is as versatile as it gets for us, and a huge part of that is due to its 50 metre main boom, which is the longest on any crane belonging to the same class. On top of this, a fully-equipped AC 55-3 will still remain under the 12 tonne axle load limit for road traffic.”
Based in Veldhoven, Baetsen specializes in industrial relocation jobs - from lifting individual machines to moving entire production lines. With its fleet of All Terrain cranes along with mobile and fixed tower cranes, the company covers the provinces of Brabant and Limburg from its branches in Veldhoven and Echt.
