Haulotte has completed its Building Information Models (BIM) library with 12 new model made free of charge to download.
The company says that in the few months since it launched the library and began uploading models, a good many architects, engineers, and construction companies have started to use it for planning, designing and managing construction projects more efficiently.
The BIM models are available free to download in both REVIT and IFC format. The latest models to go online are all scissor lifts they include:
The Optimum 8 (1931 AC), the Compact 8, 8W, 10, 10 DX, 10N, 12, 12DX and 14 (Compact 2032 E/ 2247 E/ 2747 E/ 2632 E/ 3347 E/ and 3947 E) plus the high range scissors H12SX/H12SXL/H15SX/H15SXL/H18SX/ and H18SXL (HS3388 RT/ HS3388 RT XL/ HS4388 RT/ HS5388 RT) all of which are battery electric models.
It has also added two more diesel scissors, the Compact 10 DX and Compact 12 DX (Compact 2668 RT/ 3368 RT).
Product Manager Clément Viaouet said: “The new BIM objects meet the quality standards of the previous ones: particular attention was paid on their design and small data size. Thanks to hard work on parameters and working envelope, Haulotte BIM objects act on a virtual environment as the real equipment would on the jobsite». Haulotte teams continue to work on developing other Building Information Models. The next wave is planned in the coming weeks with the vertical masts, articulating and telescopic booms.”
