Spanish crane rental company Grúas Cigales has taken delivery a new 100 tonne Tadano ATF 100-4.1 All Terrain crane.
The new four axle ATF 100-4.1 has a 60 metre seven section main boom and is available with a hydraulically folding nine to 16.8 metre bi-fold swingaway extension that can offset up to 45 degrees and extended to 30.8 metres with inserts. A three section telescopic luffing jib option can also be specified. The crane has an overall width of 2.75 metres and features two Stage V engines and 8x6 drive.
One of the first of the new ATF-100-4.1 models to be delivered, owners Marta and Cristina Rodríguez said: “We are very familiar with Tadano cranes and know that we can always depend on their high quality and powerful performance. The thing we appreciate the most about the ATF-100-4.1 is the fact that it comes with two engines as standard. This feature is really important when it comes to our needs. Especially since both of the engines meet the latest Euro Stage V requirements. Our crane operators really love the new AML-F crane control system, as it shows them all important information in a clear and easy to follow manner. The Lift Adjuster also played a crucial role in our purchase decision, as the system keeps the radius constant during lifts by automatically luffing the boom to a steeper position whenever load deformation occurs.”
Grúas Cigales is based in Valladolid north west of Madrid, its fleet includes a good number of Tadano All Terrain cranes including the ATF 30, 65, 80, 110, 160, and 220G-5 models.
