Family owned Ranger will be represented at the day by co-founder and managing director Steve Thacker, his wife, and quality assurance manager Verity Thacker and general manager, son Ashley Thacker who has been with the company for 16 years. Staff, customers, suppliers and local dignitaries, will all be invited to attend the grand opening.

Steve Thacker said: “A big portion of our clients have become great friends. Business is not just about buying and selling to a person or firm, it is about working together to understand needs and expectations. Relationships have been integral to the success of our business. We are not inviting clients to celebrate with us—we are inviting friends. Many of them have grown alongside us and it will be interesting to chink glasses and reminisce somewhat, although the focus of the event is as much about looking forward as it is reflecting on what has been.”
